Tasks

-Keeps up to date on overall activities of the team, identifying problem areas and taking corrective actions. -Provides leadership, communication, and coaching to employees; cultivates a motivated employee environment of trust, teamwork, accountability, self-confidence, and business ownership. -Ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations -Leads by example through 5S Methodology. -Identifies, documents, and implements opportunities for continuous improvement. -Prepares all required reports and correspondence. -Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. -Maintaining a fully operational, safe, and tidy work environment.

What You Bring

-Ability to deal effectively with a diversity of individuals at all organizational levels. -Demonstrated proficiency in supervising and motivating subordinates. -Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines. -Minimum of 4 years related manufacturing experience or equivalent. -Must be able to lift up to thirty pounds at times. -Ability to manage priorities and workflow. -Ability to perform the physical labor necessary. -Prolonged periods sitting, standing, walking, and performing repetitive tasks. -Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills -Effective communication, including writing, speaking and interpersonal communication. -Ability to understand any and all safety requirements and cautions. -Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) in related field or equivalent preferred.
