Review crew availability based on training, vacation, and vehicle availability, and adjust crewing based on Operating Supervisor updates
Identify opportunities to bundle work in the same area to maximize resource use and efficiency, take advantage of permit stipulations, and reduce the frequency of outages and costs
Communicate with local management and other Work Organizers and Schedulers regarding crew availability and its impacts to the schedule
Coordinate with Feeder Scheduling on feeder sequences and outages and map work to feeder schedules as necessary
Monitor vehicle availability and communicate with field Section Manager if a vehicle shortage prevents work from being scheduled
Support the goals of Electric Operations to ensure maximized safety, quality, efficiency, reliability, and customer satisfaction
Ensure implementation of Company safety, health and environmental programs for employees whose work is directed
Participate in corrective action analysis to continuously improve scheduling processes
Manage the impacts of delays on the weekly plan and future goals, including financial impacts, deadline considerations, and dependency impacts
Respond to emergencies and support mobilization of the Incident Command System, as required
Review seasonal work trends, work volume, program progress, and crew availability and adjust the schedule accordingly
Adjust the plan due to conditions that prevent scheduled work from being completed as given
Adjust the schedule for emergent work
Document the work completed against the work scheduled, tracking actual versus planned start and finish dates and reasons for delays
Direct work effort of clerical staff in assembling route sheets and work packages
Communicate work priorities to Operating Supervisors, highlighting high priority jobs and changes in priority
Communicate manpower limitations, along with mitigation recommendations, to relevant stakeholders for resolution
Attend cross-departmental meetings to discuss work status
Layout daily work and assign crews, allowing Operating Supervisors to provide feedback on work assignments
Update metrics based on job status and information from the field
Provide, review and distribute baseline schedule, including constraints, dependencies and prerequisites
May perform other related assignments as required to support the planning and scheduling of work on the electric distribution system
Facilitate communication between stakeholders by identifying and coordinating upcoming handoffs
Distribute work to Operating Supervisors for completion, providing job overview as needed
Review and work with local clerical staff to manage pre-requisites
Review work priorities and adjust them as necessary due to service date, Public Service Commission (PSC) date, severity, system impact, emergent work, and input from other local stakeholders
Review completion metrics to determine if programs are on target with goals
Ensure safe work practices are followed and the environment is fully protected in accordance with Company policy and governmental regulations
Utilize work plan and program targets and adjust the work schedule prior to execution based on milestone, deadlines, critical paths, durations, and crew hours for each job
Monitor job status through communication with Operating Supervisors regarding work completed, issues causing delays, and work that cannot be completed as planned
Communicate work status and completions, emphasizing concerns, delays, and work that could be completed as planned
Adjust the schedule if there are delays obtaining pre-requisites
Work with other Work Organizers, Schedulers, and the Project Management team in order to achieve a mutually-accepted plan
The selected candidate will be assigned a System Emergency Assignment (i.e., an emergency response role) and will be expected to work non-business hours during emergencies, which may include nights, weekends, and holidays.
Schedule site pre-inspections and develop a plan to address issues that are found, which could include the need for flaggers, parking contractors, or site access, changed work conditions, etc.
Monitor material availability and communicate requirements to Clerical and Stores, highlighting potential or actual material shortages

Associate's Degree and 5 years of relevant work experience or
Bachelor's Degree and 3 years of relevant work experience or
Demonstrates a high level of accuracy, even under pressure
Experience with Project Management
Dependency management experience, specifically identifying and managing work effort dependencies
Supervisory experience of Electric Operations field employees Required
Driver's License Required
