Support Group Intern - Data Engineering

Overview

Develop and maintain data pipelines, ETL, and dashboards as a data engineering intern.

Tasks

-Will sit, stand or walk short distances for up to the entire duration of a shift/work day. -Participate in performance tuning and validation of data processing workloads. -Support adherence to data governance, privacy, and security standards. -Support the delivery of datasets and dashboards using Power Bl and SQL. -Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and optimize existing solutions. -May stoop, kneel, or bend, on an occasional basis -Help manage and monitor data flows to ensure high data quality and performance. -Assist in developing and maintaining databases, data pipelines, and ETL processes -Required to use hands to grasp, lift, handle, carry or feel objects on a frequent basis -Contribute to the implementation of data models, metadata tracking, and documentation. -Will use telephone, computer system, email, and other electronic devices on a frequent basis to communicate with internal and external customers or vendors -Will lift, push or pull objects up to 50lbs on an occasional basis.

What You Bring

-Current university student. -Experience with at least one programming language (SQL, Python, or similar). -Exposure to Bl tools (Power Bl, Tableau). -Exposure with data management concepts. -Must be able to comply with all safety standards and procedures -Will interact with people and technology frequently during a shift/work day
