Tasks
-Support business development through contribution to proposals and bids -Undertake preparation of sampling plans, site investigation/validation reports and management plans to a standard suitable for submission to regulatory authorities and site auditors -Undertake contaminated site assessment, management and remediation projects including field investigations -Mentor and develop junior consultants within the team -Work independently with guidance from technical directors as required -Take an active role in managing client relationships, both within the business and with key clients -Work with national and multi-national clients -Work across a broad range of contaminated land project types including public infrastructure and commercial/industrial -Collaborating with cross-disciplinary teams and clients to ensure project integrity and success -Take project management responsibility for current small to medium projects, with larger projects on the horizon including co-ordination of field investigations, sub-contractors and reporting

What You Bring
-Demonstrated success in project management delivering to budget and program -Extensive experience in contaminated land investigation, management and remediation, including PFAS -Tertiary qualifications in environmental (or other relevant) engineering, geology/hydrogeology or environmental science -Ability to develop and communicate conceptual site models relating to contaminant sources, pathways, and fate and transport properties -Demonstrated experience in field investigation methodologies – various techniques for soil and groundwater sampling, soil logging, well installations, with ability to mentor and direct junior staff -Fundamental understanding of state and national regulatory guidance -Possess strong data management skills, with ESdat and ArcGIS experience preferable -Experience in a consultancy environment and managing key client relationships. -Have a strong understanding of NSW and national guidance pertaining to contaminated land management including contaminated land auditor scheme and risk assessment principles -Proven ability with technical aspects of proposal and report writing
