Handles parts sales, inventory, and service order processing for rental stores.

Tasks
-Assist walk-in customers with parts & merchandise sales. -Responsible for keeping record of parts inventory. -Assist with customer parts counter sales, stock orders, and answer incoming calls. -Help process warranty claims for machines for all central Illinois rental stores. -Complete required paperwork and computer data entry of billings, ordering, stocking and selling of supply items for both Parts & Service Depts. -Maintains service records, equipment information, and customer information in system, as needed. -Provide excellent customer service to all customers and employees. -Operate pallet jack and drive company vehicles to deliver or pick up parts as needed -Will ship and receive freight, inventory storage, customer order filling

What You Bring
-Ability to write professional business communication when sending emails, letters, notes, and documenting is required -Ability to look up equipment part numbers in computer parts books system and/or online resources. Process orders as they come in. -Ability to follow all safety rules and wear proper safety equipment in the warehouse and in outdoor yard areas. -Basic knowledge as well as understanding of the core parts and service operations highly preferred. -High School Diploma or equivalent is required. -Computer literate and proficient with programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and Outlook are required. -Must have a positive attitude and excellent customer service skills -Able to lift 75 lbs. -Must have a valid driver’s license with clean driving record. This includes no more than 2 minor violations within the past 3 years and no major violations within the past 5 years (Motor Vehicle Report will be performed on final candidate). -Must be a self-starter with good time management, planning, and organizational skills with a commitment to detail. Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. -Excellent communication skills (written, e-mail, verbal) -Must be able to handle general math calculations on money, weight measurement, volume, and distance. -Open, process and close work orders. -Must be well organized and able to meet challenging deadlines. -Previous warehouse experience required. A minimum of 2 years’ previous experience in parts, inventory, heavy construction equipment experience required. -Must be able to work with minimal supervision.
