Overview

Oversee construction planning, execution, safety, and team management on Texas sites.

Tasks

-Ensure a strong safety culture is reinforced continuously. -Identifies succession plans for key individuals and implements necessary steps to train these individuals. -Ensure you and your family receive the services needed to support your mental, emotional, and physical well-being. -Maintain a positive relationship with client construction counterpart. -Prepare and staff a construction team made up of experienced and capable supervisory personnel. -Accountable for ensuring all project execution resources have received the required training. -Liaise with engineering staff to ensure constructability of designs. -Responsible for all site execution matters, including the timely performance of the work. -Involvement in developing and ensuring compliance with staff training roster. -Accountable for all site safety and human performance issues, and for collaborating with the project Safety Manager. -Develop hiring plan and ensure labour relations issues are proactively managed. -Ensure work is performed within quality system requirements. -Ensure verification of Supervisor qualifications.

What You Bring

-Flexibility to work in various work locations in both in-field and in-office. -Requires proficient trades union relations management skills, and a solid understanding of union agreements applicable to the work. -Excellent organizational, communication and customer relationship skills. -Must have the ability to handle all matters in a confidential and professional manner. -At least 15+ years of self-performing construction management experience. -Extensive knowledge of self-perform trades work, estimating and employee relations required.
