The Role

Overview

Assist in manufacturing & assembly of metalwork components in a workshop.

Tasks

-Maintain high standards of quality & attention to detail. -Follow all health, safety, and environmental procedures. -Use a range of hand and power tools to complete manufacturing tasks. -Assist with the manufacture & assembly of metalwork products in line with job instructions and drawings. -Carry out general workshop duties such as drilling, grinding, & preparation. -Contribute to maintaining a clean, safe, & organised workshop environment. -Ensure work is completed accurately & efficiently within agreed timescales. -Support welders, fabricators & machine operators with production tasks as required. -Assist with loading/unloading materials & finished products.

What You Bring

-Good attention to detail & commitment to quality. -Ability to use hand & power tools safely and effectively. -A practical, hands-on approach & strong work ethic. -Forklift or crane operation experience beneficial (training provided if required). -Previous experience in a manufacturing, engineering, or workshop environment. -Ability to work independently & as part of a team. -Willingness to learn & develop new skills. -Understanding of workshop health & safety practices.
