  • Provide schedule metric analysis
  • Communicates findings to project team
  • Update schedules monthly and develop what-if schedules
  • Coordinate and assist in the development of project schedule narratives
  • Evaluate project risk using the Earned Value Management system.
  • Read and interpret construction drawings, job specifications and contracts
  • Assist in bid schedule creation per client requirements
  • Maintain careful documentation of all schedule submittals so that any requests for time adjustments can be accurately measured
  • Perform or assist with forward looking Time Impact Analysis following contract requirements or industry recommended practices
  • Develop and prepare progress reports for each assigned project
  • Walk and review work on the jobsite
  • Identify and report on variations in the schedule in a timely manner
  • Interface with clients, owners and representatives
  • Perform work safely and effectively. Understand and follow oral and written instructions, including warning signs, equipment use, and other policies.
  • Assess impacts to the critical path and near critical path
  • Lead the development of baseline CPM construction schedules
  • Work during normal operating hours to organize and complete work within given deadlines. Work overtime and weekends as required.
  • Lead project teams through proper setup and maintenance of schedules

  • Knowledge of reporting tools such as Power BI, Excel etc
  • Ability to travel and relocate is required
  • 5-7+ years’ construction scheduling experience, including three years of proven leadership experience directing scheduling function
  • Communicate and interact effectively and professionally with supervisors, employees, and others individually or in a team environment.
  • PSP, PMP or comparable certification is a benefit
  • Regular, reliable attendance
  • Open to change and new information, able to adapt to changing conditions or unexpected obstacles
  • Basic legal principles as they relate to scheduling
  • Work productively and meet deadlines timely
  • Strong work ethic with the ability to work individually and as a team
  • This role may require a facility-specific clearance that requires U.S Citizenship to obtain.
  • Strong attention to detail; ability to recognize discrepancies
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient computer knowledge including Microsoft Suite and Primavera P6
  • Proficient in developing and analyzing schedules in Primavera P6
  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management or engineering preferred. Technical training or related experience will also be considered.
