Tasks

-Ensure projects are delivered to the agreed contract programme. -Responsible for the Pre-Construction phases of projects with potential values between £50k to £15m, across various Rolls Royce site in Barnoldswick. -Support project opportunities where identified, to realise, maintain and improve the commercial project performance. -Play an active lead in the production and risk management of quotations and estimates. -To ensure a high level of service is delivered and develop relationships with key stakeholders. -Liaise with the Rolls Royce Project Managers and their appointed consultant Project Managers to ensure that the projects are managed in compliance with MS18, CS06 and the current delivery programme and cost plan. -Provide Health and safety leadership to your site delivery teams and promote behavioural safety improvements. -Support the project risk management process and ensure effective controls are established to ensure the safe and timely delivery of the projects. -To ensure our suppliers, sub-contractors and direct workforce follow company policies and procedures including Health & Safety, Quality Assurance and Engineering standards. -To ensure works are carried out to high standard complying with relevant British Standards, codes of practice and Rolls Royce Standards. -Provide knowledge and support if required to ensure the quality and performance of the works. -Work closely with the Senior Design Manager to ensure robust, workable economic and constructable designs are produced. -Provide coaching, mentoring and development support to direct reports and trainees -Promote and maintain effective client/stakeholder relationships to protect and enhance the company's reputation at project level. -Manage the pre-construction phase of projects in accordance with the requirements of the NEC3 Framework Contract

What You Bring

-Sound level of administration and organisational skills -Ability to develop a good understanding of the customers’ business requirements. -Experience in the use of the NEC3 Contract -First Aid -Practical experience within the building/construction/building services industries -High standard of workmanship -Sound knowledge of computer software packages within Microsoft Office -Experience of working in occupied buildings/campuses -City & Guilds /NVQ construction related qualifications. -Clear and confident written and verbal communication skills -High level of self-motivation, organisational ability and drive to meet deadlines. -Knowledge and skills to effectively problem solve. -Experience in the use of Fieldview or similar tablet-based quality assurance software. -Experience in the preparation of quotations and estimates. -CSCS Card -Proactive approach to all tasks undertaken. -Experience of the management of Health and Safety across multiple sites
