The Role

Overview

Oversee ops & maintenance of mechanical, electrical, plumbing systems in commercial facilities.

Tasks

-Develop and maintain building-specific maintenance procedures. -Ensure compliance with codes, regulations, and safety standards. -Supervise maintenance staff (if applicable), assign tasks, and monitor progress. -Maintain a professional appearance and comply with uniform standards. -Submit monthly reports to keep management informed. -Complete all required safety training annually. -Recommend improvements to the preventive maintenance program. -Perform daily operations and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. -Manage inventory and stock control. -Respond promptly to emergencies (e.g., fire, equipment failure). -Conduct preventive maintenance: change filters, lubricate motors, replace lamps/ballasts, inspect belts, align shafts, etc. -Coordinate with outside contractors and technicians.

What You Bring

-Frequent movement between departments and floors. -Clear verbal communication and reading comprehension required. -Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. -Ability to lift 50 lbs., stoop, climb, crouch, and reach. -Relevant trade licenses (e.g., Journeyman, Master Electrician, Steam Engineer) as required. -Professional office and property settings; travel between properties may be required. -Trade school or apprenticeship program preferred. -5+ years of experience in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems within a commercial property setting. -High School Diploma or GED required. -Universal EPA Section 608 certification for refrigerants.
