Tasks

-Creates detailed reports, presentations, and dashboards to communicate business findings and regulatory recommendations to senior management and stakeholders. -Researches and analyzes records, financial data, and operating statistics for use in regulatory filings. -Creates and formulates business documentation and reports, including rate case testimony, exhibits, and discovery responses, to support regulatory (i.e., rate case or other) filings and appeals. -Identifies opportunities for process optimization and efficiency improvements within the planning function and across the business and implement changes and improvements. -Builds consensus among Company's leadership for budget direction and/or regulatory strategy -Develop and coordinate cross-functional work groups and projects yielding optimal outcomes -Performs issue analysis and corresponding development of strategic positions that integrate company and business unit regulatory strategies. -Creates and sustains accurate forecasting models to predict future business performance. -Identifies potential risks associated with business and regulatory plans and develop strategies and recommendations to mitigate them for senior management. -Partners with various departments to implement investment or regulatory plans, track progress, and ensure alignment with organizational and regulatory objectives. -Conducts thorough research and analysis of industry and company trends, financial data, operational metrics, benchmarking and utility landscapes.

Capable of transforming raw data into actionable insights that inform regulatory approaches and arguments -Proficient verbal, written, and presentation skills; communicate clearly with credibility and confidence -Ability to work with shifting priorities and embrace new or evolving responsibilities -Experience with cost and performance metrics in interpretation, trending, and writing high-level performance commentary
