Tasks
-Coordinate with Project Managers, Project Controls staff, and performing organizations to create, update, and maintain the Resource Management Plans for major projects -Issue periodic portfolio reporting and resource forecasting based on inputs from human resources, work planning and execution leads, and project teams. -The employee frequently is required; to sit and stand; walk; bend, use hands to operate office equipment; and reach with hands and arms. -Planning/organizing: Prioritizes and plans work activities, organizes personal and project timelines and deadlines, tracks project timelines and deadlines, and uses time efficiently. -Support Project Directors and Project Managers during the project planning and execution phases to understand current portfolio resource loading and communicate project resource demands to the organization. -Develop and document a comprehensive and scalable resource management program for NuScale portfolio of projects, the output of which will include resource plans and periodic reporting. -Quality Assurance: Commits to the understanding in the implementation of quality assurance regulations, standards and guidelines of 10 CFR 50 Appendix B, 10 CFR 21, and NQA-1. -Lead periodic reviews of resource status (supply vs demand) by functional area. Identify and resolve issues in coordination with functional managers. -Translate high-level potential future projects and change orders into forward looking resource demand forecasts to inform the organization. -Problem solving: Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner, gathers and reviews information appropriately. Uses own judgment and acts independently; seeks input from other team members as appropriate for complex or sensitive situations. -Develop tools and standards to provide visual representation of resource needs by organization, discipline, skills, etc. Provide training to work planning and execution leads and project controls teams.

-Exceptional organizational and multi-tasking skills, with an emphasis on coordinating conflicting demands and priorities. -Industry Requirements: Eligible to work under Department of Energy regulation 10 CFR, Part 810. -Experience: Minimum of 8 years of full-time working experience in a portfolio resource management with a portfolio of large projects is required. Additional required and preferred experience includes: -Strong technical writing skills. Good communication, computer, presentation and interpersonal skills. Exceptional organization skills and ability to manage complex programs/projects with multiple work phases. -Ability to learn new job functions and comprehend and understand new concepts quickly and apply them accurately in a rapidly evolving environment. -Ability to travel nationally and locally using common forms of transportation. -Dependability: Consistently on time and at work, responds to management expectations and solicits feedback to improve performance. -Adaptability: Adapts to changes in the work environment, manages competing demands and is able to deal with frequent interruptions, changes, delays, or unexpected events. -Education: A minimum of a B.S. or B.A. degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Project Management, Accounting, or Business Administration is required. Directly applicable technical working experience is required. -Safety Culture: Adheres to the NuScale Safety culture and is expected to model safe behavior and influence peers to meet high standards. -Team Building: Capable of developing strong interpersonal networks and trust within the organization. Leads consensus by involving all stakeholders, facilitating their understanding of differences, agreeing on requirements and constraints, and developing the best solution. -Oral/written communication: Listens carefully and speaks clearly and professionally in all situations. Edits work for accuracy and clarity. Is able to create, read and interpret complex written information.
