The Role

Overview

Serve coffee, pastries, and provide excellent customer service at Junie's Café.

Tasks

-Maintain a clean and organized workspace. -Assist in the stocking and serving of pastries and other grab & go food items when necessary. -Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff. -Operate coffee-making equipment and maintain cleanliness of the equipment. -Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks and other beverages. -Greet guests warmly and provide excellent customer service. -Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth cafe operations. -Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately when needed.

What You Bring

-Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds. -Previous experience as a barista or in a similar role is preferred. -Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. -Basic math skills for handling transactions. -Strong customer service skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor.
