Tasks

-Reviews and approves submittals for processing -Create daily reports and report quantities -Development/coordinate/execute Safety, Hazcom, SWPPP, QA/QC plan, etc -Manage self-perform features of work -Mobilizes the site and sets up utilities -A Senior Superintendent can lead teams with varying levels of experience while developing team members through training and mentoring -Monitor costs, including labor time and material -Review and approve Trade Contractor Pay Applications and material invoices with the Project Manager -Develop and maintain site logistics plan in coordination with the Project Manager -Direct day-to-day on-site supervision of field labor force -Assist with the Preconstruction/Estimating phase of the project -Implementation of Operation Zero and all Manhattan safety policies. -Coordinate site testing and inspection reports -Manage quality program -Participates and executes roles to help create an Injury-Free Environment through own actions and mentoring of others -Assures necessary permits are secured, and inspections occur -Manage the CPM schedule and look ahead schedules -Attend and lead portions of, if not all of, project meetings, including but not limited to preconstruction, preinstallation, subcontractor, owner, and safety in coordination with the Project Manager -Reviews and verifies RFIs

What You Bring

-20-time Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) Accredited Quality Contractor (AQC) -Exhibits the ability to read and develop a project schedule -Exhibits the right balance between calm and stable leadership and aggressiveness and drive -Ability to review and understand submittals and shop drawings -Able to effectively lead teams through projects of high complexity -Ability to repeat the same movements. -Exhibits outstanding leadership skills -Proficiency in writing and processing RFIs, document revisions, and recognizing changes of scope and need for pricing -Bachelor’s Degree- Construction Management, Engineering or equivalent. May substitute required education degree with related experience on a one-to-one basis -Ability to compose, send, and reply to emails and written correspondence. -Strong and proactive decision-making/problem-solving skills -Exhibits a thorough understanding of QA/QC -Travel may be required occasionally, primarily in the metropolitan area but sometimes domestically (must have a valid Driver’s License). -15 years of industry experience -Must be able to lift, pull, or move up to 50 pounds at a time. -Computer knowledge and efficiency, including Microsoft Office products -You must be adaptable to all types of weather conditions and traverse and inspect all areas of a construction job site, including walking, climbing, reaching, bending, crawling, or stretching. -Ability to communicate effectively to participate fully in meetings, video conferences, and phone calls. -Strong written and verbal communication skills -Exhibits the ability to manage a team with two or more assistant/area superintendents -Exhibits a thorough understanding of MEP systems -Exhibits the ability to manage multiple projects with separate teams -Must have sports stadium experience -Ability to physically stand, bend, sit for long periods, and squat throughout the day. -Excellent time management and organizational skills
