Tasks

-Focus on assessing the quality and suitability of data, taking a detailed approach to create and explore useful data sets, delivering insight, enabling and supporting advanced analysis and data insights for the business via interactive dashboards. -Work closely with colleagues within Commercial & Finance and other functions within the business (Project Management, Operations, Sales & Tendering) to ensure a complete picture of the business is understood for forecasting and reporting purposes -Discover, analyse, and interpret trends or patterns in sophisticated data sets to perform strategic analysis and research. -Provide relevant, high-quality and meaningful data available to better anticipate and facilitate decision-making. -Improve the efficiency of our business through process optimisation, intelligent data analysis and use of process automation.

What You Bring

-Professional Finance or Accounting Qualification (e.g. ACA, CIMA, ACCA) or studying towards/have completed a degree in a data analytical, finance or business/project management related subject area, with a demonstrable passion for digitalisation and data in a finance context. -Strong analytical skills, understanding of complex issues, the ability to quickly absorb information, conceptual and creative problem-solving excellence. -You think logically, willing to self-learn and research, and take a creative approach to problem solving. -Demonstrates knowledge with key finance technologies and data, including platforms such as SAP and Project Dash, as well business intelligence software (e.g. Alteryx, PowerBI, and Tableau) -If you already gained insights into data models, coding or data visualisation and automation it would be considered an advantage. -Excellent communications skills with ability to clearly and concisely express complex situations to peers and senior management through writing, speaking and presentations. -Practical knowledge of the latest technologies (Artificial Intelligence, Robotic Process Automation and Analytics) and the application of these in a finance context. -Able to translate the requirements of the Commercial team into timely and accurate dashboards.
