Overview

Supervises production staff, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency in HVAC manufacturing.

Tasks

-Perform accident investigations. -Balance quality, productivity, cost, safety and morale to achieve positive results in all areas. Work to continuously improve in all areas. -Ensure effective relations. Provide coaching and development. Makes recommendations regarding employment decisions. Resolve issues through problem resolution. -Manage departmental performance measures, including visual controls and provides regular progress reports to manager. -Manage department priorities. -Recognize and mitigate safety hazards in assigned areas. -Investigate quality issues and initiate preventive action. -Approve team member timecards and track absenteeism.

What You Bring

-Communication Proficiency. -High school diploma or GED. -Time Management. -2+ years of experience as a Welder or CNC I / II operator. -Problem Solving/Analysis. -5+ years of experience in a production environment. -Strong familiarity with blueprints, CAD drawings / renderings. -Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree. -Experience with Microsoft Excel. -Strong familiarity with Curb and Adapter products. -2+ years of experience in a production leadership position within the last 7 calendar years (with KCC preferred, elsewhere accepted).
