Tasks

-Work involves diagnosing the source of trouble and determining the extent of repairs required, replacing worn or broken parts. -Ensure shops are staffed in the event of inspector absence. -Responsible for ensuring attendance of subordinate staff. -Directs subordinate staff according to workload and needs of the mission. -Review, sign, and submittal of Daily Timecards. -Determines and orders repair parts for each work order using correct technical manual. -Oversee technical inspections IAW contract standards. -Oversee the daily operation of technical inspections, status of work orders and assignment of workload in the inspection shops. -Responsible for the inventory and tracking of hand receipt items. -Responsible for providing estimates IAW DA Pam 750-8. -Brief customers on correct statuses and estimated completion date. -Assist inspectors in finding reference material, part numbers, and vendors. -Review closed work orders, in process work orders, timecards, and project forms for accuracy. -Collaborate with government personnel on the installation and inspection of MWO’s and SOUM’s.

What You Bring

-The employee will normally work in a temperature-controlled office environment, with frequent exposure to electronic office equipment. -Ability to obtain National Agency Check with Investigation for computer access. -Minimum of five (5) years' experience in the inspection of military equipment. -While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision. -PPE required. -Must possess and maintain a current Oklahoma Driver's License. -Must have knowledge of tactical and commercial equipment maintenance. -Must be proficient in GCSS-Army. Possess the ability to track statuses, produce status sheets, and review work order and equipment histories. -High School graduate or equivalent.
