  • Conduct on-site inspections of residential and commercial projects to verify compliance with applicable New York State Building Codes and local ordinances.

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented On-Call Building Code Inspector to join our Building Codes team. This position plays a key role in ensuring compliance with New York State Building Codes and local regulations through field inspections of residential and commercial projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction or code enforcement, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. This is a flexible, on-call role ideal for professionals looking to supplement their current workload or semi-retired inspectors seeking part-time fieldwork.

Current New York State Building Code Inspector or Code Enforcement Official certification.

Strong working knowledge of New York State Building Codes and construction practices.
