Tasks

-Troubleshoots highly complex production issues, serving as escalation point. Evaluates and follows through on issues and problems until resolved. -Contributes to and champions PulteGroup Development best practices, methods, standards, and processes. -Manages large projects or processes with moderate impact on the achievement of sub-family results. -Technical Leadership: You'll be expected to provide technical guidance and mentorship to other developers, conducting code reviews and enforcing coding standards, helping more junior developers improve their skills in Sitecore development and best practices. -Works to achieve day-to-day objectives with major impact on the area of responsibility. -Conducts a full range of programming tasks including program design, development, debugging, estimating, unit testing, and documentation for a variety of applications, systems, databases, or websites. -Leads the selection and evaluation of new vendor software solutions and packages. -Works with team leadership and architecture to set and track delivery and development goals for individuals on team. -Provides third-level application support including on-call (after hours, weekends, holidays) for priority issues. -Serves as a technical subject matter expert through all phases of system analysis and development. -Determines testing methodology and manages the development and execution of comprehensive test plans. -Guides the team to design and develop well-integrated, enterprise-level solutions that meet present and future business needs. -Typically, responsible for providing guidance, coaching and training to other employees within job area. -Identifies and leads process improvement efforts within teams -Proactively collaborates with architecture leadership to contribute to application architecture standards. -Typically responsible for coaching, reviewing and delegating work to lower-level professionals. -Leads knowledge sharing and shared understanding amongst the development team -Typically, responsible for managing major/complex projects at this level, involving delegation of work and review of work products. -Provides mentoring, training, procedural and technical guidance to less experienced staff. This includes documentation of technical designs and decisions and assuring technical knowledge is shared with all development team members. -Contributes to the development of goals the area and planning efforts (budgets, operational plans, etc.). -Provides measurable input to new products, processes or standards in operational plans in order to implement operational objectives. -Additional responsibilities for this role: Recruits, selects, coaches, and develops team members. When direct reports are assigned, conducts performance reviews per HR guidelines. Takes corrective actions, including Performance Improvement Plans and terminations, when necessary. Also manages professional growth and development plans.

What You Bring

-Cloud and Composable DXP: Familiarity with cloud hosting platforms like Vercel or Netlify and a solid understanding of a Composable DXP (Digital Experience Platform) strategy, including MACH architecture (Microservices, API-first, Cloud-native, Headless), is highly valued. -Requires deep knowledge of area typically obtained through higher education combined with experience. -Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience and minimum 6-8 years of prior relevant experience. -Sitecore Expertise: You must have extensive, hands-on experience with Sitecore, specifically with Sitecore XM Cloud, and a strong understanding of its architecture, features, and headless development capabilities using Sitecore JSS. -Problem-Solving and Decision-Making: They act as the go-to person for complex technical challenges, making informed decisions that impact the project's direction and success. -May require travel -Typically viewed as a subject matter expert within discipline. May have broad knowledge of project or program management. -Follows secure coding standards and addresses security scan alerts. -Headless and Front-End Development: Proficiency in headless development is crucial. This includes strong skills in modern front-end frameworks like React or Next.js, as well as core technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
