Tasks

-Manage technical projects that offer solutions to industry clients -Develop new leads and project opportunities with clients -Contribute to proposals for project development and scoping -Support emergency client work, especially for outages and maintenance periods -Proactively (early and often) communicate project status (including schedule, budget, resourcing, and deliverables) to management -Programs Engineering including Inservice Inspection, Nondestructive Examination, Welding, Repair (Structural Weld Overlays), and License Renewal -Develop engineering assessments to resolve issues for utility clients

What You Bring

-Familiarity with material degradation and failure modes -Experience with NRC regulations and business protocol -Receptiveness to constructive feedback to improve capability and performance -Utility experience is a plus, specifically EPRI BWRVIP, MRP, WRTC, NDE, or other industry programs. -Ability to review, critique, and improve the written output of other engineers -Curiosity to learn new technology and analytical approaches -Understand engineering approaches from colleagues and experts -Excellent written and oral communication skills including presentations are a must -Design Engineering (Construction Codes: ASME Section III Code - Stress and Fatigue Analysis, ASME Section VIII, B31.1). ASME Section XI knowledge is a must including Appendix Q -Willingness to travel up to 15% to support clients and business needs -PE is desired -Degree in Materials Engineering and/or Mechanical Engineering. Advanced degree is a plus -Finite Element Analysis (FEA) capability -Experience with the Domestic US Commercial Nuclear Fleet Reactor Design & Materials is a plus -Strong self-organization tendencies and ability to adapt to changing scenarios -PMP (and other) project management certification -5-10 years of experience in any of the following fields:
