Parking Attendant (non-driving / non-valet)

Overview

Assist customers with parking, issue tickets, manage transactions, and maintain lot.

Tasks

-Process exception transactions (e.g., lost tickets, grace period tickets, etc.) according to company policy, including completing the applicable form. -May be asked by local management to complete small cleaning or maintenance tasks according to the company’s maintenance checklists. -Provide the company’s standards of service with each customer including maintaining the required uniform appearance, stating the company greeting, answering questions, resolving issues and thanking each customer upon exit. -Direct patrons where to park. -Complete the daily shift paperwork by recording the number of transactions by parking rate, number of vehicles in and out of the facility, number of contract parkers, vehicles left in the facility, number of validated tickets and exception tickets. -Issue tickets to customers, recording the required information on each ticket.

What You Bring

-Customer service 1 year+ -Ability to read, comprehend, and communicate effectively both verbally and through written correspondence. -Ability to maintain a professional and friendly demeanor when working with other employees and the parking customer. -You are at least 18 years old. -Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. -Ability to provide customer resolution in a professional and friendly manner. -High School degree preferred but not required.
