Tasks

-Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to improve service outcomes and customer satisfaction -Provide expert advice on waste compliance, enforcement, and community education initiatives -Lead and support a team of professionals to meet operational goals and service standards -Oversee contracts, budgets, and KPIs to ensure efficient and cost-effective waste service delivery -Manage domestic, commercial, and event waste services, including illegal dumping and recycling programs -Manage illegal dumping education and enforcement including assisting in legal proceedings when required

What You Bring

-Proven ability to deliver environmental sustainability and community education programs -High-level communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement skills -Degree in Environmental Science, Operations Management, or a related discipline -Extensive experience in waste or asset management, including contractor and workforce oversight -Local Government experience (desirable) -Current NSW Class C Driver’s Licence -Experience leading complex projects and driving operational improvements -Strong background in managing illegal dumping enforcement and compliance
