Tasks

-Manage both subcontractors and internal federal employees -Read and understand drawings and specs, and ensure that all scopes are completed in accordance with prints and specs -Schedule, manage, and assist, as needed, subcontractors -Communicate with clients and provide them with project details, as well as keep them fully updated with the schedule -Completing all required on-site paperwork -Inspect and secure jobsite to prevent damages and theft -Establish sequence & manner to carry out work, consistent with Project Manager's direction and keep the project on schedule -Manage actual schedule, including two-week lookaheads -Prepare and document job meetings, safety meetings, reports, daily pictures & logs -Ensure a safe work environment by following and enforcing safety standards -Complete reports and documentation required or requested by management -Supervise, inspect, and approve day-to-day operations of Federal Division remodel projects -Develop and review the Accident Prevention Plan along with other safety compliance for the project -Coordinating construction projects with management, subcontractors, and PSI employees -Set expectations of subcontractors and hold them accountable for results -Identify and solve problems

What You Bring

-5 + years of federal and/or commercial construction superintendent experience. -The ability to ascend and descend ladders and other elevated structures -Strong phone and computer skills including Word, Excel, Outlook, and sending of photos -The ability to transfer 130 lbs. a distance of 12 feet with the help of another person -Must be able to work at heights from an elevated aerial device -Ability to travel up to 80% of the time if needed, able to work Friday thru Saturday if needed, and have a valid driver’s license -Be willing to physically work as needed -The ability to lift 75 lbs. -The ability to work outdoors in diverse environments -Ability & willingness to study, understand, direct, and perform, based on construction drawings -Strong time management skills -Learn quickly and make educated decisions as required to maintain schedule
