QA Engineer II

Overview

Develop and execute Cypress/JS automation tests, ensure software quality and release readiness.

Tasks

-Work with developers to help reproduce issues and prioritize them. -Involve in test cases and automation scripts review as a peer. -Maintain high awareness of industry issues and trends, particularly in regard to web technologies, .NET, microservices, cloud computing (AWS), and automated unit testing. -Write high quality automation code using Cypress, Javascript & other automation technologies, in a high-paced, sophisticated production environment. -Embrace and enhance patterns for our automation architecture and infrastructure, with a focus on maintainability, usability, scalability and reliability -Be responsible for the successful deployment and execution of our suite of tests across all levels of experimental, stable, and production environments. -Collaborate with front end engineers, back-end engineers, devops engineers, product managers, and user experience designers to influence our software design and architecture to be testable. -Have used and contributed to continuous integration/continuous deployment pipelines -Implement the standards of quality of the software we write via writing self-explanatory coded tests. -Develop and execute test cases, defects reporting and status reporting.

What You Bring

-Hands-on experience working with creating, consuming, and testing REST APIs -Deep knowledge of the testing process and software testing life cycle -Detailed knowledge of Test scenarios/Test cases writing, Defect logging and tracking -Excellent communications skills -4+ years of experience in manual and automation testing using Cypress/ Selenium/ Javascript or other similar technologies. -Excellent problem solving and analytical skills -Mobile devices Testing knowledge will be a Plus. -Knowledge of HTML & CSS. Knowledge of JUnit, NUnit, Jasmine would be a plus
