Mechanical fitter for water treatment projects, handling assembly, maintenance, and inspections.

Tasks

-Ensure equipment is maintained to a high and safe standard. -Ensure quality, environmental and health and safety procedures are adhered to. -Dismantle and re-assemble mechanical assemblies. -Inspect equipment and identify faulty components. -Carry out preventative maintenance work on plant and equipment. -Ensure safe use of hand tools, machinery, and other equipment.

What You Bring

-The ability to understand and use schematics and maintenance drawings to analyse, assess, and find faults within these systems. -Full UK Driving Licence -Capable of self-checking work and to possess high personal standards with respect to Environment, Quality and Health & Safety. -Possess a mechanical understanding and knowledge of Hydraulic, Pneumatic and Hydrostatic systems. -To be organised and have the ability to plan a sequence of events, which are required to remove and reinstall components within a working system. -NVQ OR City and Guilds Qualified
