Tasks

You'll lead multi-site BIM programs, oversee modeling quality, and set the standards that guide every location. You'll build prototypes, partner closely with client teams, mentor BIM specialists, and introduce improvements-including automation and AI-that make delivery more consistent and efficient. The BIM Manager - Retail leads the development, implementation, and scaling of BIM standards and delivery processes for some of the world's most recognized retail brands. This strategic and client-facing position sits at the intersection of architecture, digital design, and program management - driving the rollout of BIM across hundreds of locations. You'll translate client vision into scalable BIM workflows, ensure consistent quality, and build trusted partnerships with owner-side teams. Within the first year, this individual will establish a unified retail BIM framework that improves modeling accuracy and enhances rollout efficiency across the program portfolio. You'll shape BIM strategy for some of the world's most iconic retail brands, scaling standards and workflows across hundreds of locations. This role gives you portfolio-level influence, visibility with client leadership, and a clear growth path into senior management as you elevate BIM delivery for global accounts.

What You Bring

Your BIM frameworks will drive faster, more accurate store rollouts and help clients make smarter design and construction decisions. By transforming models into actionable program intelligence, you'll directly impact rollout speed, quality, and long-term brand scalability. This is a hybrid role in our Chicago office and will require 1 day per week in the office. US work authorization is required. -3+ years managing BIM workflows and standards, including leading teams and interfacing directly with clients. -Strong project management skills and can break down large initiatives into manageable tasks to set priorities and meet deadlines. -5+ years of experience working on retail or multi-site architecture projects with significant exposure to prototype/rollout programs. -A bachelor's and/or master's degree in architecture or a related field. -Experience collaborating directly with owner-side teams (store planning, brand design, construction). -Excellent communication and leadership skills and are able to guide conversations, resolve conflicts, and build alignment. -Deep Revit expertise, including family creation, template development, and prototype-based rollouts.

-Home office setup costs -Paid holidays -The pay for this position is $95,000 - $105,000, and the role is eligible for bonuses. The actual salary offer may be different as we carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, location, and experience -A 401(k) plan that is fully vested immediately -Dental and vision insurance. We cover up to 75% of the monthly insurance premiums for VIATechies and up to 50% of the premiums for dependents (depending on the plans chosen) -Health insurance with the choice of five plan options. We cover 70-95% of premiums for VIATechies and 65% of the premiums for dependents (depending on the plan chosen) -Open and flexible time off
