Tasks

-Produce or assist with filing Certified Payroll Reports (CPR's). -Issue interim off-cycle checks for layoffs and missed time entry timely. -Pay employees by directing the production and issuance of paychecks. -Meet weekly payroll deadlines. -Handle challenging situations - time requirements -Interact with Payroll, Corporate Accounting and multiple contacts with Division Finance personnel. -Provides payroll information by answering questions and requests from employees or supervisors.

What You Bring

-Experience in the construction industry payroll processing. -Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and written. -Understanding of Payroll Tax -5 years of in-house payroll processing -Experience with JDE – Preferred -Positive and professional approach in day-to-day interactions with co ­ workers and field employees . -Proficient in Microsoft Excel -Ability to multi - task and remain positive and professional. -Experience with union payrolls . -Adaptable and experienced in meeting challenging deadlines. -Written and oral communication via email to employees and managers. -Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. -5 years of hands-on payroll processing experience. -Understanding of payroll transactions in JD Edwards, in-house payroll processing. -Must be organized and detail oriented.
