Yard/Warehouse Supervisor

Overview

Oversee yard and warehouse operations, lead staff and manage stock/orders in Watford.

Tasks

-Work with colleagues to suggest opportunities for improvement -Work as a direct support the management team and act as a keyholder when needed -Check incoming deliveries and report missing or damaged products -Help to process and prepare customer orders - load and unload customer and supplier vehicles using a forklift truck to minimise manual handling (training will be provided!) -Maintain stock levels in both the warehouse and yard areas, carrying out regular stock counts -Keep the branch looking clean and tidy and make Health & Safety a priority -Ensure your team are set up for the day.

What You Bring

-Confident working both indoors and outdoors, with a strong focus on H&S -Previous industry experience preferred but not essential -A genuine enthusiasm for dealing with customers, and a ‘customer 1st’ attitude -Comfortable in a role involving extensive manual handling of bulky items
