Overview

Tasks
-Recommend improvements to project management tools and processes. -Assist with procurement activities including RFP development and bid evaluations. -Participate in client and stakeholder meetings, ensuring clear communication and follow-up. -Monitor project progress and assist in identifying and implementing corrective actions. -Assist in coordinating project scope, schedule, budget, procurement, and risk management. -Help develop and maintain project plans aligned with client goals and regulatory requirements. -Contribute to sustainability and resilience efforts in project execution. -Collaborate with senior team members and contribute to knowledge sharing. -Serve as a point of contact between Turner & Townsend, clients, contractors, and consultants. -Ensure compliance with quality standards, safety protocols, and environmental regulations. -Support change control processes and maintain accurate project documentation. -Support full lifecycle project management from pre-design through close-out. -Conduct risk assessments and support mitigation planning. -Contribute to progress reports, financial updates, and project tracking. -Coordinate with city agencies, utility providers, and permitting authorities. -Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and support reporting efforts.

What You Bring
-Experience supporting complex design and construction projects, including civic buildings, infrastructure upgrades, and ground-up developments. -Professional certifications such as PMP or CCM are a plus. -Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, MS Project, and project management software. -Able and willing to work onsite at the client’s facility approximately 23 miles North of Saint Petersburg, FL on a full-time basis. -Familiarity with construction drawings, specifications, contracts, and RFPs. -Exposure to capital improvement programs and renovation projects, including fire suppression systems. -Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. -5+ years of project management experience in public works, municipal infrastructure, or related sectors. -Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field. -Strong communication, coordination, and stakeholder engagement skills.
