What You Bring

A commercial electrician specializes in the installation, testing, and troubleshooting of electrical systems in commercial or industrial buildings. This is primarily a Shop or Field Jobsite job. You must be able to lift a dead weight of at least 50 pounds and stand on your feet for several hours at a time. You must also be able to bend, stretch, crouch, and lift as required by the job, be able to respond quickly to sounds, see and respond to dangerous situations, and properly wear personal protective gear. Our selection will be driven by the skills / qualifications above as well as the ability to develop relationships with clients and co-workers to maximize your professional opportunities. Randall Electrical is currently seeking qualified Commercial / Industrial Electricians to work on large projects throughout Orlando and Central Florida. Experience Required -Must be an excellent EMT conduit bender. -Must be familiar with proper use of PPE and OSHA rules applicable to construction sites -Must be familiar with materials, equipment and devices commonly used in commercial electrical installations. -Must have effective communication skills. -Must be able to install and make terminations inside MDPs, panel-boards, VFDs, ATS and similar equipment. -Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus. -Must have good knowledge of NEC requirements for common installations in commercial / industrial projects. -Must be able to work well with others. -GED or equivalent diploma -Capable of operating scissor lifts. -Three + years of combined experience in commercial / industrial electrical work -Possessing a journeyman license is a plus but not necessary. -Valid Driver’s License: Must have a clean, insurable driving record (if position requires that you operate a Company Vehicle) -OSHA 10/30 is a plus. -Must be familiar with basic lighting control circuitry. -Capable of operating Lull and excavation equipment is a plus. -Must be familiar with common wiring methods used on commercial electrical projects. -Must be able to read blueprints and diagrams.
