Tasks

-Draft final or near-final versions of Records of Survey, Topographic Maps, ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys, Subdivision Plats, and Survey Exhibits for review and stamping by a Senior Land Surveyor. -Take clear, organized, and legible field notes and photographs. -Conduct survey research and prepare boundary calculations from recorded documents for field crews to retrace property boundaries. -Collaborate closely with Senior Land Surveyors and fellow Survey Technicians. -Independently collect field data for boundary, topographic, and ALTA/NSPS land title surveys under the direction of a Senior Crew Chief. -Analyze Title Reports to identify deeds, easements, and other recorded encumbrances, and assess their impact on specific parcels of land. -Perform field survey calculations, including rotations and translations.

What You Bring

-2+ years of office experience -4-Year Bachelor of Science Degree (Geomatics) -Willingness to work towards LSIT, CST, and or FAA 107 pilot's license -Effective verbal and written communication skills -2-year Associate of Applied Science Degree (Geomatics) -Ability to climb steep hills and carry less than 80lbs for extended periods of time -2+ years of field experience -Familiarity with Carlson Civil Survey CAD software -Clean driving record with ability to drive company or rental vehicles -Willing to travel throughout the Pacific Northwest -Land Surveyor in Training License (LSIT) -Experience with Civil Drafting Software (AutoCAD / Carlson) -Familiarity with Carlson field equipment -Ability to manage your time, juggling multiple tasks and projects simultaneously -Experience with survey equipment, GPS, Robotics, and Total Station
