The Role

Overview

Handle customer collections, credit limits, job accounts and resolve disputes.

Tasks

-Communicate approved action items including release criteria and escalation options. -Work with CAS team on department goals. -Recommend changes in customers’ credit privileges based on criteria provided. -Routinely utilize GetPaid collection / communication software to initiate customer communication based on workflow actions. -Share customer insights and account updates promptly with relevant stakeholders. -Monitor aging and communication of overdue balances and account reconciliations. -Record customer communication and actions in GetPaid. -Monitor lien deadlines and complete required documents to reduce risk of loss. -Gather and assess documentation for preliminary job account approval, -Respond to incoming calls and voicemails in a professional and timely manner. -Manage resolution of customer disputed items, including escalating the matter to management when the situation has stalled. -Analyze scheduled reports for customer action items. -Perform general administrative tasks including document management and filing. -Conduct regular meetings with sales and operations to review open items with a customer.

What You Bring

-Demonstrated commitment to ethical standards in professional conduct and decision-making. -Strong attention to detail with demonstrated analytical and problem-solving capabilities. -Ability to work well in a team environment. -Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly in written and verbal formats. -Proficiency in general personal computer applications, as well as in the use of Microsoft Office software, including Word and Excel. -Demonstrated time management and organizational skills, including an ability to plan and manage multiple priorities simultaneously. -Proactive and solution-oriented mindset. -Ability to prioritize and act with urgency on time-sensitive matters. -Must be wiling and able to perform all other duties as assigned by management. -Knowledge or willingness to learn tax laws: i.e. IL, IN, IA, PA, WI, MO, OH & KY -Demonstrate effective problem-solving and conflict resolution skills. -Accreditation from NACM a plus. -Utilize clear and professional written communication across internal and external channels. -Minimum four (4) years’ experience in Collections and Order to Cash, preferably in electrical or distribution experience and/or product and application knowledge.
