Tasks

-Safety, Compliance & IP Stewardship : Adhere to Eaton safety, cybersecurity, and data‑handling requirements; ensure licensed content usage, attribution, and IP hygiene.Align with customer/regional mandates on BIM and digital deliverables." -Automation & Plugins (Efficiency at Scale) : Partner with platform engineers to test, adopt, and champion plugins/automation (e.g., Revit add‑ins, Dynamo) to reduce modeling cycle time and errors.Contribute to plugin backlog triage, UAT, and rollout; submit improvement requests and metrics on productivity uplift. -Modeling, Coordination & Data Integration : Oversee creation, federation, and coordination of discipline models (primarily Revit); ensure constructability, maintainability, and downstream manufacturability.Coordinate multi‑discipline inputs (mechanical/electrical/architectural) and vendor content; manage model aggregation and issue resolution.Ensure interoperability across Revit–Inventor–Project Center and other internal platforms; define data hand‑off contracts and MVDs -BIM Standards, Governance & QA : Implement and enforce Eaton BIM standards and BEPs; champion ISO 19650 principles, LOD definitions (100–500), IFC/COBie data requirements, model naming, and versioning. Conduct periodic BIM audits and clash detection; drive corrective action to maintain accuracy, completeness, and compliance. Maintain the BIM “report card” and continuous‑improvement backlog for methods, templates, and content libraries. -Stakeholder Communication & Change Management : Serve as the primary point of contact for BIM deliverables with AEC partners, internal engineering, product lines, and applications teams.Present status and insights to leadership; provide BIM Council updates; support training and “brown‑bag” sessions to uplift capability across product lines.

What You Bring

-Familiarity with Inventor–Revit interoperability" -Experience in electrical assemblies/switchgear including equipment metadata, clearances, and connectivity. -Experience working in agile environments and managing technical documentation." -Hands‑on with Dynamo, Revit API, or C#‑based plugins; comfort validating new tools and writing UAT scripts. -Demonstrated success implementing BIM standards/BEPs and running multi‑discipline coordination. -Exposure to ETO/CTO workflows and integration with configurators, PLM, or drawing automation. -Strong stakeholder management, written/verbal communication, and mentoring skills. -Strong communication skills to collaborate with engineering and product teams. -Solid grasp of ISO 19650 / IFC / COBie / LOD frameworks and model data governance
