The Role

Overview

Lead ROW projects for electric transmission, handling contracts, budgets, staff and client liaison.

Tasks

-Assist Supervisor by providing guidance on staffing. -Communicate potential cost overruns and scope changes with the Client in a timely manner. -Assist in asset inventory. -Assist with or approve disciplinary warnings and terminations in compliance with Company policy and must notify HR prior to any disciplinary action being issued and ensure physical presence to address any employee issues. -Coordinate with the supervisor in developing project scope, budget, deliverables andmilestones and meet client’s needs. -Manage Direct Reports and field personnel, handle office-related issues, etc. -Review and understand contract/work order and terms for both client and agents -Monitor and coordinate staffing levels with Client. -Train Direct Reports and other key field personnel on new company processes. -Assist management with client contract negotiations. -Is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear. -Serve as the company’s onsite representative for internal functions and attend clientmeetings, functions, etc -Complete Skillset Matrix for Direct Reports and communicate with Supervisor. -Attend and volunteer at local association events. -Approve project related expenses. -Communicate Client scope changes with direct reports. -Provide coaching and training to assist Direct Reports in improving their performance. -Assist in the scheduling and completion of onsite audits. -Attend other industry-related seminars or events deemed necessary by the Supervisor. -Communicate potential leads through the company approved Customer Relations Management tool (CRM). -Assist in the preparation of Requests for Proposal (RFP) and Formal Estimates. -Provide project reporting to Client in accord with the Client’s schedule or as directed by Supervisor. -Assist Supervisor with developing plans and ideas for employee engagement. -Coordinate with Marketing in identifying potential events and organizations for support. -Hold regular management meetings for improved communication and training. -Provide alignment between delivery and services with shared services. -Assist Sales and Marketing department with project cost estimates. -Conduct performance reviews of Direct Reports and communicate with Supervisor. -Attend initial project kick-off meeting and subsequent project conference calls. -Generate and submit Change Order documentation to support scope changes when necessary. -Ensure accuracy of Client reports and GIS reporting tools. -Coordinate with Accounting in verifying Client invoices and follow up with clients. -Refine company standard operating procedures (SOP) in agreement with client specifics andremain current on company SOP updates and implement Project SOP at a project level.

What You Bring

-Bachelor’s degree is preferred. -Must have a CPL or RPL certification for Upstream PM -Two- Four years of supervisory experience -Is occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. -Must be involved in AAPL or IRWA where applicable. -Ability to operate Microsoft Office software and e-mail. -Ability to maintain regular attendance as per work schedule agreed with the manager (may require working an adjusted work schedule based on project assigned and work overtime if warranted). -Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus. -Ability to pay close attention to details, and present good planning, organization, and time management skills. -Spends 100% of time in an office environment. -Ability to work autonomously and to collaborate fully as a team player. -Is occasionally required to stand, walk, and stoop, kneel, or crouch. -Ability to comply with applicable laws and regulations and Company policies and procedures. -Possess effective communication skills, and attention to detail. -At least six years of relevant experience in the industry -Good understanding of the legal aspects of the documents required to complete the project, as well as area property values, general environmental issues, and the permitting requirements of the jurisdictional agencies in the project area. -Ability to work in a team environment and willingness to assume additional or new responsibilities readily.
