Business Controller

Overview

Oversee finance functions, forecasts, cash, audits, billing, and advise senior management.

Tasks

-Accountable for the preparation and completion of internal audits. -Involvement in our compliance programs including, regulations and accounting policies. -Work during normal operating hours to organize and complete work within given deadlines. Work overtime and weekends as required. -Responsible for client billing and revenue collection. -Provide leadership and coaching to finance staff, assisting with development plans and performance evaluations. -Perform work safely and effectively. Understand and follow oral and written instructions, including warning signs, equipment use, and other policies. -Maintain records as required regarding job progress, costs and tracking of change orders.

What You Bring

-Proficient with the Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. -Ability to think strategically while identifying problems and developing creative solutions. -Minimum of 4-5 years of proven experience working in a larger company. -Work productively and meet deadlines timely -Excellent oral, written, interpersonal, and presentation communications skills. -Ability to summarize information and communicate results to executive management. -Communicate and interact effectively and professionally with supervisors, employees, and others individually or in a team environment -Confident, articulate, and professional speaking abilities and experience speaking in public, to groups, or via electronic media. -Regular, reliable attendance -Must be able to articulate and summarize information and results to executive management. Accountable for cash management and forecasting. -Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization, including executive. -Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. -Have the ability to build relationships and communicate across matrix organizations.
