The Role
Overview
Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair production equipment for truck transmissions night shift.

Tasks
-Maintains work area 6S and assists in department/team housekeeping efforts -Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments on equipment. Perform regular preventive and predictive maintenance on machines and equipment as scheduled. -Assists in maintaining an atmosphere of continuous improvement and team efforts for accomplishing department and plant goals. -Read and interpret electric/electronic schematics, hydraulic and pneumatic diagrams, mechanical blueprints; equipment manuals; and work orders. Use these to take action to perform required equipment maintenance. -Trains and continually updates skills to adapt to new machinery and technology

What You Bring
-Strong mechanical aptitude. -Legally authorized to work in the US on an on-going basis without company sponsorship. -Must have a high school diploma or GED -Use mechanical skills to perform highly diversified activities to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production machines and equipment in support of the manufacture of heavy-duty & medium-duty truck transmissions. (including Fanuc robots and controls; NC/CNC equipment; and PLC and drive systems) -Working knowledge of Maximo asset management software -Prior experience with Siemens/Fanuc NC systems and Allen Bradley PLC's -Working knowledge of a CMMS asset management software -Experience with AutoCAD -Experience with predictive maintenance such as infrared, ultrasound technologies -Good written and verbal communication skills -Able to read and understand electric/electronic schematics, hydraulic and pneumatic diagrams, and mechanical blueprints in support of rebuild/repair of equipment. -Associates Degree in Industrial Maintenance, or related field, and three(3) years electrical/automation experience; OR a certificate in Industrial Maintenance, or related field, and five (5) years of electrical/automation experience. -Displays professional conduct
