Tasks

-Act as Mentor to Project Engineers to further and assist their professional growth -Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors -Negotiate terms of agreements, draft contracts and obtain permits and licenses -Meet contractual conditions of performance -Select tools, materials and equipment and track inventory -Analyze, manage and mitigate risks -Oversee and direct construction projects from conception to completion -Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status -This position is a position that a times may travel to active project sites and markets within a specified region. -Review the work progress on daily basis -Review the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs -Coordination of framing subcontractors, framing inspection processes, and fire-rating assemblies -Provide training and education to any Garrett Companies personnel as needed to ensure a successful project. -Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques

What You Bring

-Previous experience managing multi-family construction projects. -Standard Company orientation in Indianapolis -Experience with slab-on-grade and wood-framed superstructures -Understanding of wood-frame detailing, moisture control, and building envelope integration -Relentless problem-solving skills. -Garden-style, stick-frame multifamily construction (Type V) -Ability to anticipate. -Familiarity with wood truss systems, load-bearing wall framing, and floor/roof assemblies
