The Role

Overview

Perform MIG, MAG, TIG & MMA welding, fabricate metal parts, read drawings, ensure quality.

Tasks

-Operate power tools and hand tools to cut, shape, weld and fabricate metal components -Carrying out all works to a high standard whilst complying with all relevant health and safety standards -Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet project specifications -Assemble structural steelwork and fabricated metal parts using mechanical knowledge -Perform MIG, MAG, TIG & MMA welding techniques to join metal parts -Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints

What You Bring

-Ability to read drawings and specifications -Company uniform and PPE provided -The ability to operate power tools and hand tools effectively and safely -Mechanical knowledge for assembling metal parts -A full driving license -Experience in fabricating metal components -Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations -Be able to work on own initiative and as part of a team -Proficient in MIG, MAG, TIG & MMA welding techniques and processes
