Tasks

-Assist in the gathering of field data and documentation as needed. -Foster a Customer-First Mindset -Support the full range of complex engineering studies including reliability, harmonics, load flow, and reliability-centered maintenance studies. -Follow and assist in the development of policy and procedures for conducting power system and engineering studies. -May support circuit and system measurements and help write reports relating to EMF, electrical load, voltage, and power quality projects. -​Building Effective Teams – Creates strong morale and spirit in his/her team; shares wins and successes; fosters open dialogue; lets people finish and be responsible for their work; lets subordinates present to senior management; acts as if real success is the success of the team. -​Directing Others– Is good at establishing clear directions; sets stretching objectives; distributes the workload appropriately; lays out work in a well-planned and organized manner; maintains two-way dialogue with subordinates on work and results. -Assist with the electrical power system documentation including system configuration, equipment ratings, and settings. -Perform short circuit analysis, protective device coordination, and arc flash studies. -Assist other engineers with all types of power systems and engineering studies. -Assist in the preparation of estimates and take-offs for engineering study project proposals. -Support all types of power systems Typically, will work with a Sr. Power Systems -​Organizing – Can marshal resources (people, funding, material, support) to get things done; can orchestrate multiple activities at once to accomplish a goal; uses resources effectively and efficiently; arranges information and files in a useful manner.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, basic color differentiation, and the ability to adjust focus. -Valid Driver’s License. -Requires a high degree of organizational skills.

Benefits

The anticipated salary range for this role in the Oregon and Colorado locality is between $_108,150__ to $ 135,188____ per year [IF ROLE IS NON-EXEMPT: (based on a 40-hour work week)]—salary ranges for other geographic localities may vary. Certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including merit increases, annual bonus and stock. These awards are allocated based on individual performance and are role based. In addition, certain roles also have the opportunity to earn sales incentives based on revenue or utilization, depending on the terms of the plan and the employee’s role. The role is eligible to participate in a comprehensive and competitive benefits program, including medical, dental, vision, disability, PTO, holiday pay, and 401k.
