We are seeking a strategic sustainability leader who thrives on complex infrastructure challenges and has a proven ability to influence outcomes. This role is more than just managing compliance; it's an opportunity to champion change, guide project teams, and deliver lasting positive impacts on some of WA's most significant works. -Identify and secure necessary resources (personnel, systems, tools, consultants) to deliver sustainability objectives. -Facilitate internal and external sustainability audits and reporting to support continuous improvement. -Provide advice and guidance to project leadership on sustainability risks and opportunities. -Promote sustainability awareness across project teams, ensuring staff understand and implement relevant requirements. -Champion best practice sustainability outcomes across the project. -Ensure alignment with client sustainability targets and ACCIONA's SMP2025 values. -Lead the development, implementation, and monitoring of sustainability strategies and initiatives. -Coordinate with stakeholders to track progress against sustainability goals and resolve any non-conformances. -Support Infrastructure Sustainability Council (ISC) ratings and reporting requirements, where applicable.

What You Bring

The OpportunityWe're expanding our Western Australian operations and strengthening our sustainability capability across current and upcoming major infrastructure projects. We're seeking an experienced Sustainability Manager to lead sustainability initiatives for some of WA's most significant infrastructure works. You'll work closely with multidisciplinary project teams, consultants, and stakeholders to ensure sustainability objectives are achieved and exceeded, providing strategic oversight and practical guidance across all project phases. Key Responsibilities -Proven ability to lead teams, influence stakeholders, and deliver complex sustainability programs -Minimum 7 years' experience in sustainability roles within construction or infrastructure projects, ideally as a Senior Advisor or Manager -Tertiary qualifications in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related discipline -Experience with infrastructure or large-scale construction projects is highly regarded -Excellent communication, planning, and problem-solving skills -Strong understanding of sustainability frameworks, certifications, and reporting (e.g., ISC, ISO 14001, or equivalent)
