Overview

Lead on-site construction delivery for a major renewable energy zone project

Tasks

-You’ll build constructive relationships with delivery partners and stakeholders to ensure safe and reliable project outcomes. -Finish the week collaborating with planning and engineering colleagues to forecast works and resource needs. -Engage with landowners, local authorities and stakeholders to maintain positive relationships and clear communication. -You’ll model transparent decision-making and foster a trust-based environment on every work front. -You’ll champion our zero-harm culture by setting the standard on site and leading by example. -Oversee daily construction activities, resolving issues and ensuring work meets design and safety standards. -Start each day on site leading pre-starts and safety walks with contractors and site teams. -You’ll drive results through clear direction, accountability and collaboration across multiple contractor teams. -Coordinate with the Project Manager and wider Delivery team to report progress and manage risks.

What You Bring

-Electrical trade qualification or Engineering degree with extensive HV construction experience (substations). -A current NSW Driver’s Licence, White Card and willingness to travel regularly across NSW. -Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport across diverse stakeholders. -Strong understanding of contract management and delivery partner oversight. -Proven leadership of large, complex infrastructure projects within the utilities or energy sector. -Comprehensive knowledge of WHS and environmental legislation (Cert IV in WHS desirable).
