  • Work with RF test equipment such as spectrum analyzers, signal generators, RF scanners and test UEs.
  • Perform RF data collection and analysis using walk or drive-testing methods.
  • Support customer meetings and site walks within their region.
  • Work independently with Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS), Private Cellular Networks, IoT and Wi-Fi Networks.
  • Work alongside our design engineers and Project Managers to see individual projects to completion.
  • Be flexible with working hours to facilitate job site and travel requirements.
  • Work independently to develop project specific commissioning plans, procedures, and schedules.
  • Support on-site commissioning, integration and testing for cellular networks and DAS.
  • Troubleshoot and repair DAS and other wireless networks.
  • Maintain and operate our current wireless systems in the Seattle metro area.
  • Work alongside other technical experts including customers, operators, subcontractors, engineers and technicians to deploy DAS or other wireless networks.
  • Support on-site commissioning, integration and testing for 2-Radio networks and Emergency Responder Coverage Enhancement Systems (ERCES).
  • Develop test plans, drawings, technical documentation, and reports, for internal and external publication.

  • IBwave Design experience and certification.
  • CCNA/CWNP Network Certifications.
  • Ability to read/understand construction documents.
  • Experience with Wi-Fi and networking
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Familiarity with PSERN standards and procedures.
  • Strong computer/tablet skills and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.
  • Experience using Spectrum Analyzers, Signal Generators, test UEs and other RF test equipment.
  • Certifications with DAS OEMs such as Commscope, JMA, SOLiD, ADRF, Comba, Nextivity, etc.
  • (5) years of experience as an RF Engineer.
  • Be available to travel domestically as much as 25% of the time.
  • GROL (General Radio Operator License) license holder.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Familiarity with construction job sites and contractor best practices.
  • Be able to operate a personal vehicle and have a valid driver’s license.
  • Experience with IoT technologies.
  • Working knowledge of various wireless technologies: LTE, 5G, 802.11, P25 Phase 2, etc.
  • Experience in installation, termination and testing of fiber and low voltage cabling.
  • (3) Years of experience as an RF Engineer.
  • Strong sense of ownership and independent work product.
  • Experience commissioning in-building cellular Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS).
  • Experience performing ERCES Recertifications.
  • NICET license holder
  • Understanding of building communications systems, BAS/BMS, Controls, OT/IT.
  • Experience with RF components such as couplers, splitters, filters, amplifiers, antennas.
  • Experience commissioning in-building Public Safety DAS or ERCES.
  • Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work successfully across multiple disciplines.
  • Ability to work at job sites around the Seattle metro area as much as 85% of the time.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience deploying Private Cellular Networks.
