ICT/Security BIM Design Coordinator

Overview

Assist in developing and maintaining BIM models for telecom/security infrastructure.

Tasks

-Prepare detailed drawings, layouts, & diagrams of the design using the current 3D software -Responsible for assisting with the creation of the discipline model, systems, content, and overall digital delivery output for that discipline -Maintain the discipline model including project information, coordinates, scales, orientations, scope boundaries, matchlines, views, and sheets -Assist in the development of the discipline model, with direction from the Digital Design, Architectural, or Engineering staff -Accurately model the BIM elements in the correct special constraints of the modeling environment, using the current 3D software -Produce discipline specific documentation with accurate annotations on all modeling output

What You Bring

-Experience with an architectural/engineering or engineering consulting firm highly desirable -General engineering knowledge of either the telecommunication (Horizontal/Backbone cabling and pathways) or electronic security systems (communications, electronic controls, CCTV, access control, UPS, etc.) and operational coordination with commercial hardware
