Tasks

-Manage test activities and test article fabrication, documenting results accurately. -Perform engineering design, development, analysis, and test activities for assigned projects. -Communicate project status, analysis, and test results through written reports and presentations to internal and external customers. -Apply engineering principles to adapt or improve upon heritage features from previous designs. -Develop test programs to evaluate system elements such as materials and structural components.

What You Bring

-Ability to obtain DoD Secret security clearance. -Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline with 7 years of related experience, or a Master's degree/PhD in STEM with 4 years of related experience. -Experience with DoD programs and related industry experience within the launch vehicle sector. -Strong understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) software. -ASME Y14.5-2009 certification in GD&T. -Experience in the aerospace, missile, launch vehicle, booster, or defense industry. -Proficiency in Siemens NX 1946 and Teamcenter. -Proficient in mechanical design and CAD software, preferably Siemens NX and Unigraphics NX. -Active DoD Secret security clearance or higher is preferred.
