The Role
Overview
HR Generalist handling recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, training and compliance.

Tasks
-Process unemployment paperwork and handle communications in accordance with federal and state regulations. -Administer HR policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with company objectives. -Assist in the development and implementation of training programs to enhance employee growth and engagement. -Create reports, training instructions, and collect data to support data driven decision making. -Represent Sofidel at social community events and recruiting events to attract skilled professionals. -Utilize social media, job boards, and other recruitment tools to source, screen, interview, and hire top talent. -Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and HACCP to maintain a safe and hygienic workplace. -Oversee employee orientation and onboarding programs, ensuring a seamless transition for new hires. -Maintain employee records, benefits documentation, and legal compliance files. -Track and analyze turnover rates, exit interviews, and HR metrics to drive strategic improvements. -Coach and advise management and employees on HR policies, procedures, and best practices to promote fairness and consistency.

What You Bring
-Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills. -Minimum of three years of HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting. -Vision (Near, Distance, Color, Peripheral, Depth Perception) -Ability to build strong relationships across teams and work both independently and collaboratively. -Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities. -Strong knowledge of recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, and compliance. -Sense of Sound (within normal range) and touch -Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field. -Experience with HRIS, ATS, and recruitment platforms. -HR certifications (PHR, SHRM-CP) highly preferred.
