Help position Arup as a leader in heritage and conservation work across the province.
Lead the assessment, preservation and adaptive reuse of historic and heritage structures, applying technical expertise and creative problem-solving to deliver innovative solutions.
Collaborate with leadership to develop and execute a dynamic go-to-market strategy aimed at expanding Arup’s structural and heritage practice in Ottawa.
Cultivate and maintain trusted relationships with clients, architects and industry partners, strengthening Arup’s presence in the market.
Support the growth of the SMEP team in Ottawa, including mentoring and developing junior staff.
Partner with the Ottawa Office Leader on GTM initiatives and business-development activities.
Lead and contribute to high-profile projects, ensuring seamless multidisciplinary coordination and technical excellence.

Bachelor’s degree in Structural or Civil Engineering required (Master’s preferred).
Licensed as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.); licensure in Ontario (or local jurisdiction) required.
Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and deliver projects of varying scale.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with a track record of client engagement and business development.
Established network within the Ottawa market, with a reputation for technical excellence and leadership.
A minimum of 15 years’ experience in structural engineering, including demonstrated experience in heritage, preservation or adaptive-reuse projects required.
