Tasks

As a Project Manager/Estimator, you’ll oversee electrical projects ranging from commercial installations and renovations to the installation of EV Chargers. You’ll manage all phases—from estimating and pre-construction through completion—ensuring that every project is delivered safely, efficiently, and on budget while maintaining strong relationships with builders, contractors, and clients. -Oversee project implementation, ensuring quality workmanship, code compliance, and on-time delivery. -Prepare detailed estimates, material takeoffs, and proposals for design-build projects. -Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to company growth initiatives. -Clearly explain design concepts, costs, and options to clients in a professional, customer-focused manner. -Maintain strong communication with clients, team members, and field personnel throughout each phase. -Manage all aspects of assigned projects — including scheduling, budgeting, procurement, and subcontractor coordination. -Collaborate directly with customers to understand project goals and develop electrical system designs.

We’re growing—and we’re looking for a skilled Project Manager/Estimator to lead our residential and commercial electrical in Richmond, VA and the surrounding counties. -You’re flexible and able to travel between job sites as needed. -Computer skills to work on our electrical service software. -Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and construction practices. -You’re familiar with the construction markets in Richmond, VA and the surrounding counties. -You have a proven ability to generate new business opportunities through established client connections. -Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. -Excellent communication and customer service skills. -Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required. -You thrive on collaboration and problem-solving. -Electrical license or relevant technical background preferred. -You’re experienced in both commercial and EV electrical projects. -5+ years of experience in electrical estimating and/or project management (design-build preferred).
