Tasks
-Successfully complete and maintain any required safety certification and testing on an annual basis. -Support infrastructure security hardening efforts, including patching and access controls. -Automate provisioning, monitoring, and maintenance tasks using Bash, Python, or Ansible. -Design, implement, and maintain network and system infrastructure to support product operations. -Configure and optimize network devices (switches, firewalls, VPNs) to ensure secure, resilient connectivity. -Maintain clear documentation of architecture, configurations, and operational procedures. -Deploy, manage, and scale containerized (Docker/Kubernetes) and virtualized (VMware/KVM) environments. -Collaborate with project teams, including Engineering and Operations, as well as non-project teams across Herzog, to integrate infrastructure solutions into the product lifecycle. -Enhance and manage monitoring platforms (Zabbix, Grafana) for proactive visibility and performance optimization. -Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues spanning servers, networks, and applications.

What You Bring
-Experience with monitoring platforms (Grafana/Zabbix a plus). -Regular and predictable attendance and punctuality are a requirement for this position. -Effective communication and teamwork abilities to support cross-functional collaboration. -Proficiency in scripting (Bash, Python, or similar). -Minimum 3 years of experience in both Linux system administration and network engineering. -Subject to pre-employment physical, medical evaluation, and drug screen. -High School diploma or equivalent. -Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills across both systems and networking domains. -Regular and consistent engagement, participation and promotion of Herzog’s Culture and its essential behaviors are a requirement for this position. -Hands-on experience with virtualization (VMware, KVM) and container platforms (Docker, Kubernetes). -Must be able to hear and distinguish auditory signals as required by the position. -Strong knowledge of TCP/IP networking, routing, firewalls, and VPNs. -Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience. -Requires occasional standing, walking, lifting, stooping or bending. -Subject to pre-employment background check and motor vehicle report review. -Must successfully pass color/vision examinations as required by the position. -Familiarity with infrastructure automation and configuration management (Ansible, Terraform, or similar). -Frequently use a computer keyboard and office related equipment.
