The Role
Overview
Design and engineer substation and transmission projects (12kV‑500kV) for utilities and EPC clients.

Tasks
-Perform work safely and effectively. Understand and follow oral and written instructions, including warning signs, equipment use, and other policies. -Work with the project team to create all design documents and drawings, including one and three-line diagrams, protection and control schematics, communications diagrams, wiring diagrams, substation layout plans, section and detail drawings. -Communicate and coordinate project activities with project lead, customer representatives, and other stakeholders. -Work during normal operating hours to organize and complete work within given deadlines. Work overtime and weekends as required. -Apply engineering application software to complete engineering tasks such as ground grid design, equipment sizing, relay coordination, and electrical studies. -Specification development for the procurement, installation, and testing of substation equipment.

What You Bring
-Work productively and meet deadlines timely -Regular, reliable attendance -Communicate and interact effectively and professionally with supervisors, employees, and others individually or in a team environment. -At least 2 years of experience performing engineering-related duties preferred -Legally able to work in the United States for any length of time -Bachelor of Science degree (B.S.) in Electrical engineering from an ABET-accredited university -Knowledge of engineering standards, including NEC, NESC, NEMA, IEEE and ANSI -Strong written and verbal communication skills; fluent in English language
