Tasks

-Analysis of smoke management, means egress, and fire hazards -Development of site fire protection features and fire department access plans -Interface with local AHJs and building owner insurance representatives -Communication with clients and writing technical reports -Design of fire alarm and fire suppression systems -Review and development of life safety plans

What You Bring

-Knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD, and fire protection related computational programs -10+ years of experience -Knowledge of ICC and NFPA codes and standards -Bachelor of Science degree from an ABET accredited engineering program -Strong communication and interpersonal skills -PE License -Previous experience and an understanding of adopted building codes and governmental (DoD, VA, GSA) standards -Experience in Healthcare, Mission Critical and/or Semi-Conductor markets preferred -Willing to travel up to 15%. -Experience in fire suppression, fire alarm, and life safety review and design
